EXPERIENCE ALL OUR MASTER CLASSES
The Live Design Master Classes feature the industry’s top designers and artisans coming together to share their insights and opinions with attendees from around the world in a relaxed intimate setting. The classes provide a combination of aesthetic, technical, and practical information, while the manufacturers’ showcase periods allow attendees and speakers the chance to check out the latest gear. At select events, attendees get to see a Broadway show designed by one of the speakers and stay for a post-show discussion.
Our speaker list reads like a who's-who of the top designers in the industry, beginning with our creative consultants Jules Fisher, Abe Jacob, David Gallo, Zachary Borovay, Abigail Rosen Holmes, and Jeff Ravitz, and including Kevin Adams, John Lee Beatty, Bob Bonniol, Steve Cohen, Jonathan Deans, Bev Emmons, Kieran Healy, Matt Herr, Michael Jackson, Christine Jones, Bill Klages, Anne Militello, Brian Ronan, Bruce Rodgers, Willie Williams, and many, many more.
More than any other industry event, the Master Classes provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with the best designers working today. Events in 2013 include The Broadway Master Classes for Lighting, Sound, Scenic, and Projection (June in NYC), Projection Master Classes@LDI and Concert Sound Master Classes (November in Las Vegas), and the Concert Lighting and Projection Master Classes and TV Lighting Master Classes (December in Los Angeles).
